What's on in Dunedin - Autumn 2010
Otago Museum
The chance to see the Otago Museum's Dinosaur Eggs and Babies exhibition is quickly becoming extinct! The exhibition must close its doors on Sunday 2 May, only 23 days away! This hands-on exhibition features an astounding array of authentic casts of dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the globe and is a captivating experience for all ages.
Dinosaur Eggs and Babies presents new discoveries about dinosaur reproduction and behaviour and introduces some of the fascinating people and science behind these discoveries. This multi-media experience helps give credence to long debated theories that dinosaurs and birds are closely related.
"This exhibition has given our visitors a great opportunity to learn more about the very popular topic of dinosaurs" says Clare Wilson, Director – Exhibitions, Development and Planning. "With only a limited time left in Dunedin, people should act now."
Dinosaur Eggs and Babies travels to the Imaginarium Science Centre in Devonport, Tasmania after leaving Otago Museum, and later returns to New Zealand to Waikato Museum in Hamilton.
Dinosaur Eggs & Babies is a travelling exhibition produced by StoneCompany.com in association with Gondwana Studios.
